Description / Concept

In this embellished textile artwork, I am showcasing women as beautiful, colourful orchids. Brought together into a bouquet, they create unity and togetherness, even as each flower has its own unique characteristics. When women come together, they can combine their individual talents to work towards a better future for the next generation of young ladies. The vines show their growth and potential as a group and as a community, because despite our differences, as women, we still need to work together.
